Course Description:
Runners will enjoy a mixture of access roads single track and cross country running in the Half Marathon.
The course offers views of all three bodies of water inside The Foundations as you circumnavigate The Millpond, Twin Lakes and Limestone Lake.
If you are chasing a PB, you will find it hard to resist the temptation to stop and photograph the stunning views.

10k Trail Race
2026 Start Time: 9:15am
Course Description: Runners in the 10k race will enjoy a mixture of access roads and single track as they enjoy circumnavigating Limestone Lake and The Millpond in the first half of the race. Some great photo opportunities present themselves if you are willing to sacrifice the time.
Runners will then head around the shores of Twin Lakes before a climb into the Pine Forest.
It is then downhill to the shores of the beautiful Limestone Lake where you will run along the shoreline on enjoyable single track before making the gradual climb out on access roads.
It's then into the home straight finishing in the shadows of the famous Silos.

5k Trail Race
2026 Start Time: 10:30am
Course Description:
Runners will enjoy stunning views high above Limestone Lake in the first kilometre of the course. Then it's a short gradual climb to the highest point of the course before a enjoyable technical single track down to the creek and then views of the historic bottle kilns.
It's then a lap of The Millpond before returning to the shoreline of Limestone Lake and the climb out on access roads to the finish line below the famous Portland Silos.

2K Kids Race
2026 Start Time: 11:30am
A trail race for 12 years and under.
Course Description: The younger runners of the day will head out for a lap high above Limestone Lake before returning to the race precinct in the shadows of the famous Silos.
